THE REFORM ON PEMEX AND CFE Allows for PEMEX to partner with private oil and gas companies (drilling, exploration and production, gas stations, storage of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, etc.); Allows more participation for private companies/investors to generate electricity; Allows for private companies/investors to partner with CFE to build, operate, and maintain new transmission lines.

10 Natural Gas Pipeline Infrastructure 2014 2014 Private pipelines Sufficient (Available capacity greater than 15%) Exceeded (Available capacity lower than 10%) The Northeast and Southeast have available capacity. However. The North, Gulf-Central, West and the Naco Hermosillo regions are saturated. Due to the insufficient capacity of the National Gas Pipeline System (NGPS), a strengthening and development is necessary.

Estimated Investment: US$3 billion; Three Transmission Lines, States of Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Zacatecas and Coahuila. Estimated Investment US$71 million; Five packages for the modernization of the electricity distribution lines for the States of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Mexico City, Durango, and the State of Mexico. Estimated Investment: US$512 million, etc.
