2
Who are we? Based in Chicago, USA Operations in Iowa, Ohio, South Dakota and Texas
3
Who are we? Biofuels Manufacturing Commodities Trading Agribusiness Wind Energy
4
Manufacturing Process 1 million tons of corn (maize) annually in our two bio-refineries Produce a variety of commodities with zero waste at our facilities; 500 million liters biofuels for fuel transport 300,000 tons of protein animal feed 57,000 tons of syrup 9 million liters of corn oil
5
Commodities Trading Operate a railcar fleet of over 250 railcars Tank storage options at Texas city for export of biofuels Marketing all commodities from bio-refineries both domestically and for export Trading in the US, Brazil, Canada, Peru, China, EU, Philippines, Middle East, India
6
Agribusiness Elevator business operating in Ohio Trading corn, soybeans and wheat Storage capacity of 60,000 tons on site with truck and rail infrastructure Trading 120,000 tons of commodities annually through the facility
7
Wind Energy Early stage development of 300MW wind project in South Dakota Options in place for 15,000 acres of land to develop the project Working on grid infrastructure and environmental aspects of the project
8
Key Business Attributes Logistics is a key component of operating our business units Infrastructure to deal with large volumes of inputs and outputs efficiently is important Quality of raw materials critical to smooth and efficient operations of our manufacturing plants
9
Manufacturing – Raw Material Storage Have expanded corn storage infrastructure at both bio-refineries and will continue to do so Three River Energy 28,000 tons of bin storage on site Plans to double capacity on site Plymouth Energy 52,000 tons of bin storage on site Plans for an additional 27,000 tons on-site storage
10
Manufacturing- Products Storage Both facilities have corn oil, distillers grains and biofuel storage capabilities Critical for managing production and sales volumes to ensure efficient plant utilization
11
Logistics Infrastructure
14
Plant Manufacturing Key attribute of our business is to invest in upgrading our facilities to ensure maximum efficiencies Significant capital invested in reducing energy costs, increasing yield and improving throughput New product lines continually being developed. Corn oil production a recent development Carbon capture being evaluated currently Co-locating for biodiesel production being evaluated
15
Manufacturing Process
16
Manufacturing- Corn Oil Production
17
Manufacturing- Distillers Grains
18
Manufacturing- Syrup production
19
Plant Manufacturing- Enogen Corn Significant investment undertaken in the use of biotech corn specific for ethanol production Enogen corn trait from Syngenta contains alpha amalyze enzyme in the seed Farmers grow corn variety and we pay premium to deliver the product No requirement to purchase synthetic enzyme Farmer now “growing” enzymes along with corn Enhances production and reduces energy costs at bio-refineries 36,000 acres contracted by Lakeview with farmers
20
Manufacturing- Enogen Corn
21
Investing in Uganda Agriculture key part of Ugandan economy Tremendous capabilities to grow crops Capital required to invest in creating value add products Lakeview currently assessing opportunities in the commodities sector Key capabilities in the Ag sector including logistics, processing and trading
22
Investing in Uganda Lakeview is undergoing a due diligence to assess option of partnering with local businesses Lakeview willing to consider capital investment in the region if suitable partner identified Focus will be on enhancing value of ag commodities and on improving the quality of raw materials required by the food, drinks and energy sectors
