4 Large-scale global CCS projects Source: Statoil Sleipner CO 2 injected: Sleipner has injected and stored more than 10 million tons of CO 2 into the Utsira reservoir. The amount is more than the total the Norwegian fleet emits in two years. 5 Gorgon Project The Chevron-operated Gorgon Project is one of the world’s largest natural gas projects and the largest single-resource development in Australia. Construction operations are over 90% complete.
