2. The boundary between 2 air masses that have different temperatures, humidity's, pressures.

3. Fronts – 4 types possible; 1. Cold Front: Cold air pushes under warm air forcing it up.

4. Warm air rises. Cold air replaces the warm air.

5. Violent storms are associated with cold fronts.

6. 2. Warm Fronts: Warm air overtakes a cold air mass & moves over it.

7. Rain showers usually accompany a warm front.

8. 3. Occluded Front: Cool air masses from both sides meet. Warm air caught in the middle gets pushed up.

10. 4. Stationary front: Cold air meets warm air & no movement occurs. This can cause wind and rain for many days.
