The Ring of Fire The Ring of Fire is the #1 producer of geothermal energy in the world. It produces over 60% of the world’s geothermal energy. The Ring of Fire is a ring of volcanoes and tectonic plate borders around the Pacific Ocean.

The United States is the top country that produces geothermal energy. It produces 28.79% of the geothermal energy that the countries produce. The United State’s geothermal energy mainly comes from the western part, from about New Mexico and west. There are also geothermal resources in the east, but not as nearly as much as in the west.
