Objectives:  Pursue new financial opportunities in conjunction with public, private and civic parties;  Advocate and secure necessary and appropriate funding levels; cont.

12. SOUTH FLORIDA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (SFRTA) Goal 4: Pursue long-term capital and operating funding sources to leverage local resources, both public and private. Objectives:  Maintain a sound financial plan that assesses the implications of current and proposed policies on future operations; and  Develop revenue and expenditure reporting to ensure available resources are allocated responsibly.

13. SOUTH FLORIDA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (SFRTA) Goal 5: Coordinate SFRTA activities with local and county governments. Objectives:  Collaborate with government agencies to develop land-use policies consistent with an efficient regional transportation system; and  Engage representatives of local and county governments in Authority activities through the SFRTA Board’s committee structure.
