2 What is Corporate Governance? The OECD Principles of Corporate Governance states: "Corporate governance involves a set of relationships between a company’s management, its board, its shareholders and other stakeholders. Corporate governance also provides the structure through which the objectives of the company are set, and the means of attaining those objectives and monitoring performance are determined."

3 What is CSR? “Corporate Social Responsibility is a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interactions with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis” Source: European Commission

8 Where are we as a country?. Presently there is no clear legislative framework governing CSR in Zambia.. In the first quarter of this year the Government gazeted ISO26000 as a voluntary standard through the ZABS.
