EWA Tech is dedicated to provide alternative solutions in the fields of water and energy and to contribute to the global efforts to protect the environment.
2
1/6 of world population dose not have access to safe water. Every minute one person in India die from a water related disease. Every minute 4 persons across the world die from water related disease. In North America average person consume 105.7 gallons of water per day. In Europe average person consume 52.8 gallons of water per day. In developing countries average person consume 1.3 gallons of water per day. As population grows, the availability of water decreases. Global worming cause chronic drought in more and more area every decade. Few facts about water
4
Air humidity is an unlimited renewing water resource & 1 m 3 of air contains 10 to 40 grams water vapors There are 10,000-40,000 tons of water in 1km 3 air Accordingly & EWA’ s plant that extract water from 1 cubic km of air per day will produce more than 3 million cubic meter of fresh water per year! Few facts about water from air
5
The Atmospheric Ocean 2/3 of the globe are covered by oceans. 100% of the globe is covered by the ‘Atmospheric Ocean’. 100% of the word’s population is living on land. The water in the Atmospheric Ocean is salt-free, fast renewing and available free of charge to any mankind. EWA’ s technology enable to capture the water from the Atmospheric Ocean (air humidity) in order to supply fresh water almost everywhere at reasonable price.
6
Few facts about water from air All water available on earth originated from the atmosphere. Natural precipitation are contaminated by air pollution. Upon storage, many pollutants, such as industrial, fertilizers, pesticides, sewage and air-pollution accumulate in the water. & &
7
The Problems Deficiency in Fresh Water Lack of Access to Fresh Water Low Sanitation & Hygiene Limited Infrastructure
8
Water deficiency Deficiency in Fresh Water More than billion people suffer from shortage and/or inadequate drinking water every day. According to the Population Action International, by 2025 more than 2.8 billion people in 48 countries will face water deficiency ranging from severe water shortages to major life-threatening crises, unless dramatic solutions are introduced.
9
Limited Access to Fresh Water More than 25% of the global population are leaving without access to piped fresh water, most of them are in Africa, Asia and South America.
10
Food and water are major causes of life threatening diseases. Low Sanitation & Hygiene Every 8 seconds child in the developing countries die from disease caused by unsafe drinking water. One Quarter of the world population suffering from the lack of safe drinking water. Water pollutants, originated from industries, agriculture and urban activities cause cancer, brain-damage and other severe diseases.
11
The rapid growth of population, urban and rural, and accompanying growth in industry and agriculture force governments to enlarge infrastructures for water treatment and transport in order to provide fresh water, but… Limited Infrastructure The existing budgets are insufficient to fulfill all demands.
12
Suitable almost for all climates conditions, all over the globe. Low dependency on the ambient air humidity. Low energy consumption. Utilization of all types of energy sources, including low-cost heating sources such as waste and solar heat. Water can not be contaminated by airborne microorganisms. Air pollution dose not affect water quality. Suitable for every capacity from 10 liter to 1,000 cubic meters per day. Modular system, which could be adjusted to the consumer's actual needs. The EWA Goals: The EWA ’s Plants are able to supply water at the place of consumption, without the need for long and expensive pipe systems.
13
The Technology EWA Technology involves three complementary processes: 1.Adsorption of water from the air on solid desiccant. 2. Desorption of the absorbed water. 3. Water condensation and quality adjustment.

How its’ working… Stage 1 – Door opens, air flows in and released dry (10,000m3/h). Stage 2 – Door closes, lower blower turns off, the valve of the heat exchanger opens and the circulated air is heated to 85 o C. Stage 3 – Steam valve opens and the steam are sucked out by a piston and pressed into the condensation container. Stage 4 – Steam are condensed in the condensation container and pumped out as water. Stage 5 – Latent and pressure heat are being returned to the heat storage tank. Stage 6 – Heating and steam valves are closed, followed by door opening.

18m 15m 2.5m EWA III 's are modular water plants, based on EWA III10 element, which could be combined in various options, up to 200 units. The area required is 1squar meter for daily production of 1m3 of water
20
5m For large water plants, EWA-Tech offers its unique Gasification technology to reduce energy expenses and minimize carbon emission.
21
Water production (% of RH80%) Water cost (% of RH80%) Percentage Influence of air humidity on water cost/production EWA III is almost not influenced by the ambient Relative Humidity.
22
Water Quality EWA's plants produce high quality water that stands all demands for drinking water, without the need for water treatment.
