3 BROOKHAVEN SCIENCE ASSOCIATES Project Overview LOB Status Scope (WBS 1.05.03.06) Construction of Laboratory Office Buildings (LOBs) # 1,2 & 3 – Full Build-Out - LOBs 1 & 3 – Core & Shell – LOB #2 – Temporary Toilets at LOBs 4 & 5, required for Code Compliance Each LOB features a mix of wet labs, dry labs, fabrication/assembly shops, and technical spaces that have easy access to the Ring Building experimental floor; Connection of Utility Services from Ring Building, including – Electric, Domestic Water, Sanitary Sewer, Chilled Water, Lab Gases (GN2, CA), Steam & Condensate; On Site Infrastructure Improvements – Associated Parking & Roads

Project Engineer Organization -Inspectors to be dedicated to specific areas of responsibility -Facilitates Better understanding of area requirements & trade performance -Planning for Inspections more focused on “Interior Finishes” -Ensure Contractor Implements & adequately staffs QA Program LOB – Ring Building Coordination
