HEADLINE The lettering, slogan, or saying that gets the readers’ attention, arouses their interest, and leads them to read the rest of the ad. Headline

SUB HEADLINE Used to break up text. Larger than copy letters. Set in bold or italic. Sub headline

COPY/BODY The selling message in a written advertisement Copy/Body

ILLUSTRATION The photographs or drawing used in a print advertisement. Illustration

SIGNATURE The distinctive identification symbol for a business. Signature
