This is someone dumping all of this water and polluting this area. This is a picture of polluted water and shows what happens when you pollute water.

Pollution is when you dump your rubbish in a river the ocean or the sea, and people keep doing that and the water becomes polluted, Or when you litter, the wind sometimes blows your litter into the ocean or the seas. If we keep littering some animals will come extinct then the whole food chain wont work.

Chemical wastes from factories can end up in the sea, often carried there by rivers. In 1986 a fire broke out at the Chemical Factory on the River Rhine. So much pollution was released out that 150km of life was killed in the River Rhine.

Fertilisers make crops grow faster. If they get into rivers or seas they make algae grow very quickly. When algae dies, bacteria eats the algae and use up all the oxygen in the water.

 We need to think about where we put our Rubbish or where we dump our old cars. We need to think about putting our rubbish in the bin and give old cars to the junk yard.  When you see something that looks like rubbish in the sea or in the ocean try pick it up and throw it in the bin if you can reach it.  Just think about these pore people who don’t have much clean water and we just keep polluting and this is why these people don’t have clean water because we keep polluting
