Masbia Soup Kitchen

History Masbia is soup kitchen that began by Mordechai Mandelbaum and Alexandra Rapaport they decided to make their idea into reality to feed the hungry and nourish them.These two men also went ahead and open their doors to the public on Sunday, April 3, It was Brooklyn’s first and only Kosher soup kitchen.The Soup Kitchen became a very attractive charity place for everyone like poor men, women, and children, and they made meals daily for free. They has served over a million meals, which means thousand of people such as children and elderly have went to the soup kitchen with their stomach full and satisfied.

Who They Are Masbia is a non profit soup kitchen network and food pantry, providing hot, nutritious meals daily for hundreds of New Yorkers in desperate need of food, and every week handing out hundreds of weekend take- home packages of groceries.

Mission Statement Masbia is a non-profit soup kitchen network and food pantry, that everyday provides hot, nutritious meals for hundreds of New Yorkers that are desperate for food.The Masbia gives grocery to people that don’t have enough at home. They also have a network take home package program. Masbia’s work not only feeds the hungry, but also provides free, wholesome, and delicious meals for people in a restaurant-style environment, with volunteer waiters serving them with respect.

Our Mission at AOITHS... Masbia Soup Kitchen is in dire need of funding to fulfill their mission. Ms. Allen, Ms. Minto, Ms. Dawkins and Ms. De Caul’s YELP decided to collect canned food and raise funds to assist their efforts.
