Most of the Amazon Forest is in Brazil. It also covers parts of Peru, Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.
It has existed for more than 55 million years It has survived many climate changes (e.g. ice ages) A huge variety of plants and animals live there
