The most important part in a paragraph is a topic sentence which is clearly stated. Topic sentence controls the idea of the paragraph.

What is the point we should remember to make a clear topic sentence?

There are three important points to make a clear topic sentence: There are three important points to make a clear topic sentence: 1. A topic sentence is a complete sentence. 2. Topic sentence contains both a topic and a controlling idea. For example Driving on freeway (topic) requires skill and alertness (controlling idea). 3. A topic sentence is the most general statement in the paragraph because it gives only the main idea. It does not give any specific details.
