Measuring the tempeture of hot and cold can

Chair Leg Soda can Water Energy Transfer for Hot and Cold can Conduction Cold Can Hot Can Hot air Soda can Water ConvectionConduction

How we kept our can cold and hot To keep it cold we put it on the ground and we also put it right next to a chair leg because the chair leg is also cold. To keep our can hot we put it up really high because convection causes the hot air to go upwards while the cold air goes closer to the ground

How to make our idea better To make our cold can idea we could have wrapped it in wet paper towels or we could have froze something and put them next to each other To make our hot can idea better we could put it next to a lightbulb or any kind of light source

Real life examples A real life example of convection would be when the heater is turned on the hot air goes upwards while the cold air goes closer to the ground A real life example of conduction is when you touch something like ice cube and your heat transfers into the ice cube
