Commercial Packages Promoting Science Used in many countries. In Sweden in the 1980s, the dairy company Arla used milk packages to print brief messages on e.g. microbiology and food science. In Finland, the Academic Book Store and the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies produced brief messages on current science that were printed on the plastic bags of the store.

Public Transport to Promote Science In Ljubljana, the House of Experiments produced brief quizzes on science that were printed inside public transport vehicles. In the UK, the BA did a similar project in connection with an EU funded project.

Drama to Present Science 1 Many museums have used actors in the exhibition halls to present the exhibitions, e.g. Deutsches Museum, the Swedish Museum of History etc. Heureka has produced specific short plays in connection with ongoing exhibitions, which have been shown on site. The plays have been directed to kids.

Drama to Present Science 2 Deutsches Museum arranged evening performances of written plays with a scientific content, in cooperation with a local theatre. Examples: Oxygen by Djerassi and Hoffman, Copenhagen by Frayn. Commercial theatres sometimes perform plays where a marketing connection can be made. Example Copenhagen by Michael Frayn in Helsinki, shown both in Finnish and Swedish.

Drama to Present Science 3 The Stockholm City Theatre maintains a travelling theatre that can be ordered to perform at various venues, Klara Soppteater. The set consists of two or three actors and a scientist. The plays are produced in co-operation with the scientists, and include sketches and a discussion with the scientist.

Memorable Science Shows Heureka maintains a rat basketball stadium, where rats play basketball for a live audience twice or thrice a day.

Commercial Products Museum shops often have a wide sortiment of products with a scientific content. Many of these relate to ongoing exhibitions, others are more general. Heureka Shop maintains a shop both in Heureka and in a shopping mall in downtown Helsinki.
