Hayden Stapleton Saunders 6 th H. Eng. III

First Things First: I am 16 years old, born on December 2 nd, 1997.

I attend Grimsley High School and am apart of the Junior class of I love all my friends I have met here and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

I was diagnosed with legal colorblindness when I was eight years old. My step-brother and I both share this characteristic. Being colorblind does not mean I only see black and white; I don’t pickup on shades of colors very well. Colorblindness

Athletics I have played baseball since I was eight years old. I started out in city leagues across the county and ever since 7 th grade I have played for my school. Including Kiser and Grimsley currently. I play mostly center-field now, but last year I played catcher for Varsity until our normal catcher returned. Grimsley was the Metro-4A Conference Champions last year, after “sinking the ship” in the final round 6-1.

Musical Background I have been around music and musical instruments for as long as I can remember, and today I can play 3 different instruments. I can play the guitar, piano, and bass.

My Travels I have never been out of the country. I have been to every state on the east coast, but no further west than Western Tennessee. Some of my favorite places to visit are: Wilmington, NC New York, NY Nashville, TN Boone, NC

Collegiate Plans I plan on attending a four-year university after I graduate from Grimsley, and possibly graduate school after that. I also hope to join a fraternity in college. Some of my top picks for college are: UNC-Wilmington Belmont School of Music Appalachian State University NC State University Charleston Southern University

Career Goals I hope to study orthopedic medicine in college, and hopefully earn a degree in the field. I have always loved being active and around sports, so orthopedic medicine is the field for me.

Musical Taste My favorite genre of music is Country, however I enjoy listening to lesser-known college bands or groups of all genres.

Family I have two other siblings including an eleven year old sister, and a twenty-one year old step-brother. My brother graduated from Grimsley in 2010 and my sister will attend Grimsley after she finishes at Kiser. Both of my parents are forty-seven years old, and I couldn’t ask for anyone better.

Family Pets I have three dogs and one cat in the family. I have a golden retriever named Gibbs, and Boston Terrier, and a smaller dog that we currently house-sit. Our cat is a Persian-mix named Oliver.

I love the Beach.. My favorite place to be on the entire planet, besides home of course, is the beach. My family visits Ocean Isle Beach multiple times over the year, but my favorite is Holden Beach.

Family Heritage My family can be traced back directly to medieval England. To this day, a plate with the name “Stapleton” stands over a stall at Windsor Castle, home of the Knights of the Garter.

Greensboring..? I have lived in Greensboro my entire life, and I absolutely love it.
