What is Diffusion? The movement of particles (across a concentration gradient) from an area of HIGH to LOW concentration!
What is Osmosis? The movement of water particles (across a concentration gradient) from an area of HIGH water (low solute) concentration, to an area of LOW water (high solute) concentration.
During Diffusion & Osmosis, will particles ALL move to ONE side? No. Particles want to be evenly spread out. Want to reach equilibrium.
