Here’s how Spell check Grammar check Paperless correction

Spell check/Grammar check Words and phrases underlined in red indicate a spelling error. Those in green, a grammar error. Often the green areas are just extra spaces or the lack of spaces, not really grammar errors. Note: lack of green underlining does not indicate perfect grammar.

Click on the Spell Check icon from the Standard Toolbar

Notice the two boxes The top box shows the original text. You can edit in there as usual. The bottom box shows you suggestions to choose from

More choices Ignore - Common with names of people Ignore all – if used a lot in your document Change – accept the selected suggestion Be sure Check grammar is checked.

Save document Remember to save your document periodically to avoid losing any changes.

Helpful Hint Use “Tool Tip” to help you figure out the icons. Place your mouse over any icon without clicking. Read its function momentarily.

Learn from your mistakes Make a list of your common errors. Next time, review your work for those errors systematically. Soon those errors will disappear!

Accept Changes Select the text or select all and Click on accept changes to accept changes. Save your work.

Delete Comments Click on individual comments and click on delete comment. Save your work. Voilá – a perfect paper every time!
