Group Assignment 1) Choose your own groups of four. 2) Group members assign group roles: ◦Reader – Read each page to the group. ◦Rules Assigner – Look through the comma notes to decide which rule is being used. ◦Recorder- On your paper, write down the page number and the comma rule or rules. ◦Interpreter – Explain the misinterpretation of the error. For example: Let’s eat grandma - means something entirely different than - Let’s eat, grandma. ◦Corrector – Check the answers in the back of the book for each page before you continue.
Keep up with the Score! Correct the assignment as you go and keep up with the number of correct and incorrect answers. BE HONEST! We are going to tally the number of correct and incorrect answers to see where we need to concentrate our focus.
