  Chiropractors focus their expertise on healing parts of the body through a natural approach  Tries to heal patients without the use of drugs or surgery.  Treat patients with health problems related to the muscular, nervous, and skeletal system. What is Chiropractic Care?

  I chose this profession because most people never heard of it or might only have a slight idea of this job.  I like that chiropractors don’t turn to medicine, drugs, or surgery as their first way to treat their patients.  Chiropractors have a hands-on method of treatment usually associated with the spine, which is unique compared to most physicians. Why Chiropractors?

  Minimum of 8 years of study  Required to complete a four year undergraduate degree  Must apply for licensure/registration with the New York State Education Department, Office of the Professions to practice as a chiropractor in NY. Education Requirements

  The job outlook of a chiropractor is EXCELLENT!  In fact, Chiropractic employment is expected to grow 28% from 2010 to Job Outlook?

  The average salary of a Chiropractor is $90,000. What is the Salary?

  A typical day in the life of a chiropractor means working in your own comfortable office. Chiropractors are usually on their feet and perfecting hands-on techniques to treat patients with skeletal problems.  Chiropractors usually work 40 hours a week, and may work on weekends for patients.
