The Frog Anatomy vs. The Human Anatomy By Grayson Bellamy
The Skeleton of a Frog vs. The Humans We have 206 bones. But a frog has only 159. That’s a difference of 47 bones!
The Frogs Brain vs. The Humans We have a brain weight of about 1300g (3lb). A frog’s brain only weighs 0.1g.
The Frog Circulatory System vs. The Humans The human heart has four chambers, the left atrium, the right atrium, the right ventricle, and the left ventricle. The frog has the two atriums but only one ventricle. This is because the frogs ventricle has special ridges of tissue to separate the oxygen rich and poor blood. Some mixes but it still gets where it needs to go.
The Frogs Digestive System vs. The Humans Did you know frogs don’t have villi like us. villi increase the absorptive area and the surface area of the intestinal wall
The Frogs Urogenital System vs. The Humans Humans have two orifices for evacuation of urine and feces while frogs have only one orifice (cloaca) that expels both.
