Purpose of Industry Day Provide interested parties a better understanding of the environmental cleanup projects and Hanford Site infrastructure and services scope. Highlight aspects of the Request for Information (RFI). Encourage industry feedback to aid in developing resultant acquisition plan (EMCBC and RL will be responsible for conducting resulting procurement from these market research/ acquisition planning activities).

Post-FY 2018 Scope Due to the preliminary stage of this planning activity, there is no performance work statement available at this time. The major elements of scope include, but are not limited to: Base operations needed to support Hanford cleanup – Operate key waste management facilities, maintain minimum safe operations and essential sitewide services for Hanford nuclear and non-nuclear facilities (project base operations, safeguards and security, directed/regulatory/stakeholder support, etc.) – Maintain infrastructure – Provide occupational medicine services Groundwater base operations – Maintain Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA) compliance – Contain key contaminants and treat contaminated groundwater
