Estrellabucks is located at 30°N and 135°W. The island is not really big. It is shaped like a star. The cold ocean current is the California current, and the warm ocean current is the North Pacific current. On our island, we have mountains, waterfall, river, and lakes.

Source: Location: 30ºN 135ºW

Estrellabucks is located between Hawaii and California. The climate and weather are really similar to Honolulu, Hawaii. Throughout the year, the climate in Estrellabucks is not too cold in winter, but also not too hot in summer. The average temperature during winter is around 75°F, and the average temperature during summer is around 80°F. The mountains are colder than the cost lines, because the terrain is higher than the coastlines which mean that the higher the landscape is, the colder it gets. In Estrellabucks, the climate is tropical wet and dry, and tropical savanna. The island gets a lot of sunlight, heat, and rain, so thousands of different varieties of plants grow in the forest of Estrellabucks. The type of climate is called Temperate Continental climate. It means the climate can be humid and hot in summer, but also cold and dry in the winter. The coldest month of the year is February, and the hottest month of the year is August and September.

These are the things global warming will effect our island: 1. Estrellabucks’ weather will get warmer and warmer, and the ocean current will change which make the climate go warmer. 2. In summer, all the vegetation including: crops, rice, tobacco, bread, wheat, die, because it will be too hot. And there will become less food and crops to eat in summer. 3. The snow and ice on top of the mountains will melt and will maybe cause an avalanche which will destroy some of the cities or towns in Estrellabucks.
