What is desalination Desalination is the process of salt water being cleaned for drinking and farming. Desalination is used for farming were there is not enough fresh water.

facts It cost lots of money to set up the plants and takes up a lot of energy to produce the water that can be drunk. The worlds largest desalination plant is in Africa (jebel ali). It produces 300 million cubic meters of water

What Process do you Take to Desalinise Water. When you are going to desalinate you need to have a plant that can desalinate the right way and this is how it happens. It goes through several different stages first it removes all the excess salt and minerals form the water. Water is desalinated so that humans can drink fresh water form sea water they also use it on subs and boats so they have lots of water what won't run out they also use desalination because it isn't as costly as other types of water manufactures and is a pretty good idea if you ask me myself. This also takes a lot of power but they sort the power issue out and are desalinating and will probably won't run out of water for a while to come in the next generation.

How is it Against the Enviroment The enviroment are against this because they are worried because of the massive intake of water and life of the sea creatures that may become endangered and also if they are connected to a power plant can use more power than ever and is bad for green house gas also. Also when they are doing this the consumer is aware that it may be not as good as fresh water can get and could still have a bit of the sea water in it. They are not really happy also about the power plant for Sydney is going to be and they have signed the papers and iis going to be happening soon as well.

Who created Deslination No one really created deslination really it was just an idea and they just get really advanced machines that can remove salt and minerals and can provide the rest of the world with water and they can be refreshed for most of the time
