Incorporating NEES into NSF products We need your help to get greater visibility for NEES. Most NEES notifications, if they arrive, come too late for us to help. We work with public information officers across the country.

Incorporating NEES into NSF products OLPA products help with the news push and remain sources for later features in magazines, on the web and on television

Incorporating NEES into NSF products Some news efforts are helped by NSF coordination, such as the Japan-U.S. collaboration announcement or events involving many facilities

Incorporating NEES into NSF products We recently worked with RPI to publicize the use of the NEES centrifuge to study the New Orleans levee failures, part of Corps of Engineers effort.

Incorporating NEES into NSF products Currently we are working with Buffalo and RPI to publicize the NEESWood efforts.

Collaboration Please give me a full month warning before an upcoming test (or publication) Let us know what types of visuals will be produced on your end (footage of the test, animations, high-res. images, photos, etc.).

The End Result Greater visibility Archived record of footage and materials available for future publicity Increased public understanding and awareness of important research efforts
