 The Many Complexities England!Scotland! Wales!Great Britain! The United Kingdom!

 Early “England”  Evidence of “Britons” as early as 3800 B.C.  Romans (Caesar) arrive in 55 BC. Caesar abandons the Britons not long after. So, they leave.  They come back.  Breakdown of Roman rule in 410. A Germanic people known as the Anglo- Saxons invaded the country.  Christianization occurs around 600AD.  Vikings attack Britain in 793. More power struggles between Anglo-Saxons.

Anglia, meet the Saxon Coast It’s the story… of Germanic people… who were bringing up some very lovely… settlements…?

  In 1066, Edward the Confessor dies without a heir, and Harold Godwinson becomes king.  Later that year, William of Normandy invaded England in what would be known as the “Norman Conquest.”  Normans establish control of monarchy and upper class. Our “Present” Struggle
