a vaccine is like a shot or nasal spray the is used to try and keep someone from getting a sickness or disease. they are molecules and sometimes proteins that build a protective immunity against that pathogen (germ)

recently scientists have been working on a chemical that makes animals glow a florescent green color under a black light. this project may lead to eventually putting good genes into humans and taking bad ones out.

* there is a currently breakthrough that is know as transgenic animals. * This is a genome project that alters the genetic makeup or animals DNA, putting in other embryos from other animals. * One bad thing about this is that with the new embryo sometimes old ones are knocked out taking an natural characteristic out and leaving the new one. So the cow could possibly lose something about it that the other cows around them do have :[
