Sardonic Grimly mocking or cynical. Disdainfully Humorous.

Denotative Meaning The denotative meaning of sardonic is to mock someone or something and not care what they think. Since the dictionary definition means a cynical sense of humor, sardonic is a type of humor that is self centered and subjects others to humility.

Connotative Meaning The connotative meaning of a word is the emotions or images associated with the word. Some words associated with Sardonic are malicious, mocking, sarcastic, and cynical. All of these words relate to a very rude sense of humor.
