What is Digital Divide? The Digital Divide Network is the Internet's largest community for educators, activists, policy makers and concerned citizens working to bridge the digital divide. Technology has become the driving force of change in the modern world. It has altered our economic structures and ways we communicate".

A major concern of all government and many citizens around the world is creating of a digital divide. The digital divide recognises the some of the less fortunate people in the world are not able to take advantage of technology Many people still have dialup in rural area’s. Kevin Rudd is trying to increase broadband around Australia

Having access to ICT In recent years, just as ICT's have become more widely accessible, the digital divide has received greater media attention; in contrast, policy makers and academics have long been considering the reality of the digital divide and its true impact.
