All Night Party Meetings are held the 2 nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Teacher’s Lounge Next Meeting is October 14 th at 7:00 pm in the Media Center Parents can sign up on the AHS Website under parent’s association, all night party, section drop down menu where you can purchase a ticket or volunteer

Attendance Policy - Attendance Policy - We want our seniors here! Attendance at school is important: 5 absences in a class (ex/unex) will result in a teacher contact home. 7 absences – visit to the AP office 9 absences – attendance review meeting. Beyond 9 – all unexcused (no credit for work missed)

College Night: October 12 th, 6:30 pm at AHS. Search for best fit using search engines such as Considerations when selecting a college or university: Location and size Majors and Educational Programs Costs and financial aid College
Select 3-5 schools (include a “safe” school) Observe all deadlines. Complete applications online by the end of October. Parchment used for transcript requests ACTstudent.org to send test scores. Apply for Admissions

Financial Aid Night - January 11 th, 7pm. All Seniors who want to be considered for financial aid must complete the FAFSA form. FAFSA form cannot be completed until January of the Senior year (due to tax information). FAFSA information can be found at Financial Aid
When accepted to a university, many schools will automatically notify you if you qualify for an academic scholarship. Upon completing the FAFSA (Jan/Feb), schools that have accepted you will send you a financial aid statement (March/April). The financial aid statement will include scholarships/grants and possible parent/student loans. College Scholarships
We have listed many of the local scholarships that our students may qualify for on our school website. There are websites and apps to help search nationally ( etc.) Sign up and encourage your son/daughter to sign up for Remind 101.
