 Common name: Funel web  Scientific name: Tegenaria agrestis  Kingdom name: Anamilia  Phylum name: ?  Class name: Arachnida

 They measure about 3/4 –inch in length and there leg span measuring more than 1 ½ inches.’  There known as the colloquially as funnel web spiders.  it is also a small number of spiders that are in North America whose bites are generally considered to be medically significant.

 They live about 2-3 years  Are dark black to brown and sometimes gray  The way that it reproduces its spider can be firmly large with female 15mm, the hobo spider will catch its prey by forming a silk traps that waits for the insect to fall in. then when the insect has fallen in the insect is trapped in the webs he or she will use to start it.

 They live in the Pacific Northwest in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.  These species prefers to build its webs where the hole or crack exists in which it will and locate its funnel retreat. The webs are found usually in the basement and garages rooms outdoors.  Many of then are not that harmful ass many bites are really bad sometimes.

 They can bite hard like in this picture  Some are poisoned such as the brown ones are.  Some are used to test on such as in medicines and many have chemicals. They will also normally avoid contact with humans.  When they are aggressive there called the aggressive house spider.
