Examples of Intrapersonal Skills Emotional Stability Self confident, positive moods, not easily frustrated/upset Self Control Restrain impulses, stay focussed, follow routines Attitudes toward authority Follow rules and respect procedures, ease of supervision This course focuses on these intra personal skills because they have been shown to be related to a variety of career outcomes like job satisfaction, performance ratings, supervisor satisfaction with employee, career achievement Conscientiousness maps onto self control Agreeableness maps onto attitudes toward authority
