The African Landscapes Action Plan and the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative Louis Wertz EcoAgriculture Partners

The African Landscapes Action Plan  Drafted over three days at the LPFN in Africa conference in July  Financial support provided by the Gov’t of the Netherlands, UNEP, TerrAfrica/NEPAD, ICRAF, and EcoAgriculture Partners.  Immediately endorsed by the NEPAD secretariat.  Formally recommended to the AU Executive Council by the STC last week.

What is in the Plan? 1.19 Actions 2.divided over 6 themes 1.Policy 2.Governance 3.Business 4.Finance 5.Research 6.Capacity Development 3.that lay out a path for donor, regional, and national plans for achieving sustainable development.
