What is Tknika? Established in 2005 by the Deputy Ministry of Technical Vocational Education and Training and Lifelong Learning of the Department of Education of the Basque Government. Tknika is an innovation tool for Community Colleges and Lifelong Learning

To make innovation the cornerstone of the Technical and Vocational Training in Euskadi. To move into new environments and learning processes. To reduce the competence gap that arises from an idea or technology until the companies get profit out of it. By technological awareness, design, development, deployment and transfer of innovative products and services (in the areas of management, training, technology and ICT - e-Learning) to the training colleges, and from them, to the business sector. Through a dynamic open to collaboration and partnerships with Companies, University Research Departments and Technology Centers, promoting the generation of networks, teamwork and creativity. what and how we do it

in short 1.Tknika is the innovation centre for the Community Colleges in the Basque Country. 2.We develop innovation projects and transfer the results to the Colleges´ trainers. 3.The teachers use these results to train their students. 4.The students transfer this knowledge to their work places. 5.We network with teachers (ensuring the transfer of knowledge to the whole system) 6.We guarantee excellence in our performance by means of our management model: TknikaINNOVA Model = SYSTEMATICS + CULTURE
