Info and Settings New “Edit Info” not as useful as old “Info and Settings” Trick YouTube into showing old toolbar by clicking Captions Title, Description Tags are important Spend some time writing down descriptive, accurate and specific tags People will search for your video via tags Choose an accurate, compelling thumbnail In general keep settings as open as is reasonable Choose Public in privacy settings Allow comments (you can add approval if you are worried about trolls) CAN’T use Creative Commons reuse license for CSU materials

Enhancements All the good stuff is in Quick Fixes Trim Use brackets to set start and end points Whole video is saved, so you can change these later Stabilize To get rid of camera shake Basic color/light correction tools at right More tools in Effects tab Audio tab lets you put a free music track behind it

Annotations Add titles, notes, labels, spotlights Most of these tools allow you to create a hotspot for another video or video channel Check the Link checkbox Cut-and-paste in the URL of the video

Captions Two methods Auto transcript Make sure you check it!
