GLAST LAT Project IFC Tour – Sep 5,2003 Larry Wai 13 Summary SLAC Building 33 Cleanroom Facility in operational mode TKR and CAL engineering models are now integrated as a system Basic functional tests completed Need to take more data (cosmics and Van Der Graaff) and do more tests to fully characterize integrated system Need to perform mechanical fit checks with TKR and CAL in engineering model grid Need to build LAT ground support equipment and associated LAT models to test “integrability” of entire system Need to obtain commitments from subsystems to provide manpower with expertise necessary to integrate LAT *and* within a tight schedule!
