Eastern Screech-Owl The Eastern Screech- Owl eats a variety of tiny animals. The female owl is larger than the male. The owl is famous for the bounce song which bounces up and down. Eastern Screech-Owl couples are together for life. They eat a variety of songbirds.

Gray Wolf Male wolves weigh an average 90 lbs. and females generally weigh 80 lbs. They can run 35 m.p.h. and can jump up to 12 feet high. The leaders of the wolf packs are called the alphas. The female wolf is pregnant for only 9 weeks. Within 3 to 5 months the wolf pups can travel with the pack.

Skunks Striped skunks are a fairly large mammal from the weasel family. They have bushy black tails, usually tipped with white. Males are larger than females growing up to two-and-a-half feet long. A skunk den is usually a burrow with five entrances. They have a special gland in their buttocks that sprays a foul- smelling liquid.
