People in Space People such as Timothy Peake are fixing the I.S.S (International Space Station), which is a well- known space station to many countries. Timothy Peake is staying at the I.S.S for 6 months, and has been there so far for over 1 month now. He has been training for 6 years for this moment ( ). Next

Life in space in the past Laika ( ) was one of the first animals in space. Laika was selected to be an occupant of the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2, which was launched into outer space on November 3 rd, 1957 (the day Laika died). Neil Armstrong ( ) went to the moon and was the first human there. He went there on June 20 th, 1969 on a manned lunar landing mission called Apollo 11. Next
