Presentation transcript:

Why is PDHPE important to teach to primary school children?? PDHPE is an important unit to teach children in primary schools, as it embraces the knowledge, skills and values that individual’s require, in order to live and lead healthy, happy and fulfilling lives. Therefore, as a teacher I will strive to actively teach PDHPE and encourage its importance to the children.

Safety comes FIRST!!!! The PDHPE lessons will provide adequate knowledge for the students to learn around areas where safety is required.

‘Good’ and ‘Sometimes’ food! Starting from an early age, PDHPE will educate children on the differences between good and sometimes food. And the effects they have on the body!

Interpersonal Relationships PDHPE will effectively coach children on how to create and maintain their interpersonal relationships.

Sex Education PDHPE will determine to effectively educate children with the knowledge and values required around the controversial topic of sex education, in a positive and learning based manner.
