Input Devices

Input devices allow us to enter data into the computer system –Mouse –Keyboard –Graphics Tablet –TrackPad –Touch-sensitive screen - Scanner - Digital Camera - Webcam - Microphone - Joystick

Used to point and select

Used to enter text and numbers

Used to draw freehand using a hand held pointer on a board

Track Pad User moves finger over plate to control movement of pointer on the screen Left Click Right Click

A screen with sensitive areas on it The user presses these areas to input instructions

Used to control actions usually when playing a game
