Power School: Attendance & Gradebook Just the Basics...
Log on to Power School: It's a good idea to bookmark the site.
Opening Screen
If no one is absent, simply click the submit button below your students' names. If a student is absent, tardy, etc., click the drop-down menu and the appropriate function, then click the box next to the student's name.
If you see icons by the student's name: Red= Medical Alert Scales=Discipline Yellow triangle=unique situation, an explanation will be provided. Silhouette(not shown above)=Guardian Alert (For example: Do not release student to parent.)
When you see this box, click "Trust" and then you will be in the Gradebook.
Go to the Grade Setup Tab
There are many more features to learn in Power School, but hopefully this will get you started with the basics.
