Code Black: Teacher Procedures Leave all radios, cellphones, lights, fans, etc., as they are ON or OFF. Search as you evacuate for suspicious packages (A suspicious object is defined as any package, parcel, container, or other object out of place or unusual for that location and cannot be accounted for) and also people. Alert SAFE Team immediately if you see something. Use alternate route if there is a suspicious package or anything else blocking your primary route. Have students grab their belongings and keep calm. Evacuate immediately following fire drill routes and procedures. Zone Leaders and Teachers must continue to sweep zone for secondary devices If you receive a threat, try to remember all the details of the conversation and the characteristics of the caller.
