FORMULAS Formulas are entries that have an equation that calculates the value to display. Symbols –Addition + –Subtraction – –Multiplication * –Division / –Exponentiation ^ Formulas must begin with = 10
SIMPLE CELL FORMULAS In cell E4, enter “4” In cell E5, enter “9” In cell D6, enter “Sum: “ In cell E6, enter “=sum(E4,E5)” and press enter. You should see “13” as the result in E6. “~” symbol is usually under the Escape key on the keyboard. To see the formula that you entered, press “ctrl + ~” on your keyboard. 11

SEARCHING ON WEB To exclude a term from a search: search: Springfield -Illinois The above search terms will give you search results with Springfield but not Illinois. There is no space between minus sign and Illinois in above search terms.
