Slavs Originally in Central Europe Moved to South and East South became Roman Catholics and Eastern Othodox East Became Eastern Orthodox All were taken over by the vikings

Vikings Invaded Central and Eastern Europe from Sweden Looked for loot and new trade routes Had advance use of boats Took over the Slavs and intermarried, created Kievan Rus

Kievan Rus This was the created state in Eastern Europe. Started by the Vikings after taking over the Slavs. Taken over by the Mongols Will later develop into Russian 1169 CE

Mongols Invade China and take over Invade Russia and take over Are nomadic, pastoral people from Mongolia Mongolian geography caused Mongols to be nomadic Caused much disorder in Europe along with the German invaders in Italy
