Confetti and Streamers  Confetti and streamers are popular on New Year's.  They are small pieces of colored paper.

Noisemakers  Noisemakers are special whistles that people blow at New Year's parties.  Both adults and children like noisemakers

Sparklers  Sparklers are handheld fireworks that shoot sparks as they burn.  People light them on New Year's Eve when it gets dark.

Firework Displays  Some cities have firework displays.  Public firework displays are often held in safe places.

Clock Strikes Midnight  When it is 12:00 A.M., party goers blow noisemakers and throw confetti.
