Verse 1 I looked in the mirror Turned the brains on Cuz now I’m ready to get the science on B3 Gelhaus is where it’s at That’s where I’m gonna pass this test I study and study and try my best And this is how I’m gonna pass this test

Verse 2 First off, we’re gonna take a look At all that I learned from this geology book Layers and layers that make up planet Earth Crust, mantle, core That’s not all that I heard Crust is the thinnest And mantle is the thickest Don’t forget poor little core The core is the hottest The hottest of them all

Verse 3 Last, but not least, is plate tectonics Our planet’s crust is a little histrionic There once was a time when the land was all combined Into a super-continent called Pangaea oh my! Here comes a theory called continental drift Pangaea fell apart cuz the plates began to shift Shifting is what they do day in and day out So volcanoes erupt to let all the stress out Earthquakes can occur when tectonic plates collide They can move apart, move together, or side by side
