Age Collective Museums & galleries working with and for older people In partnership with the British Museum and supported by Esmee Fairbairn Foundation

Age Collective - Aims Share good practice and ideas Develop inter-disciplinary partnerships Formulate a plan of action Explore research opportunities Drive change in the museum sector Listen to the voices of older people

Raise a discussion point

Discussion points need to be: In a question format Relevant to the theme of museums and galleries working with and for older people Those raising the discussion points will chair the discussion

Chairs choose a table write their question so it can be easily viewed write a summary of the discussion using a template

Those not chairing… Join the discussions you want to take part in You can move between discussions Please don’t expect chairs to be experts

Wall of Ideas Will hold all the discussion points put forward (including those we don’t get round to) Please add to discussions by posting your thoughts to the wall

Final Vote At the end of the session you’ll be given an opportunity to vote for the discussion points you feel are priorities.

Write up We will work on a document that collates all the discussion points from the Chairs notes and the wall of ideas We will try to pull out key themes, priority areas, opportunities for actions and some thoughts on what could happen next We will circulate this for us all to use and it will support thinking for future seminars and the conference
