Animal Adaptations Owen

Arctic Fox They live in the Arctic and the top of North America and Asia. Adaptation 1: Their fur changes to white in winter and brown in summer to camouflage Adaption 2: Their tail is bushy and they wrap it around them for shelter.

Turtles They live in parts of every continent. Adaptation 1: They can put their body in their shell to sleep and to look like a rock. Adaptation 2: They can hold their breath for up to 5 minutes to find food.

Salamanders They live in almost every continent Adaptation 1: The color of their poisonous skin will warn predators to go away. Adaptation 2 : They shed their tail to escape.

River Otters They live in almost every continent. Adaptation 1: They hold their breath for a long time under water to find its food. Adaptation 2: Their fur traps air to stay afloat.
