God of the sea Or Poseidon Solar system : Neptune His relations are : he is the son of Saturn, grandson of Uranus he is also the brother of both Jupiter and Pluto, which is a tiny planet and he also has many children

THIS IS A RATHER LARGE STATUE OF POSEIDON

FACTS part one He carried a stick called a trident which had three spikes on it (if you don’t know what a trident is it’s sort of what a Devil carries.) He rode an animal that could be a dolphin or a horse, It depends on what the myth is. The reason we say that it could be a horse is because you know some people call the white bit of the wave the horse.

FACTS PART TWO It might seem a bit weird but Neptune wasn’t a very important God although we’ve been learning the Mediterranean sea is all around Italy. But the Romans weren’t very good sailors. When Julius Caesar invaded Great Britain it was classed as a great adventure (which could also be said as a quest)although it was only across the English channeI

FACTS PART THREE Neptune was the God of earthquakes because earthquakes happen from the oil in the bottom of the SEA so that’s how he had the power to make earthquakes occur. One of his nicknames was the earth-shaker because earthquakes shake the earth. He was also the God of horses and horse-racing. The Romans loved watching horse-racing. They had horse-racing tracks like circus Maximus You can see the ruins still in Rome today.
